ITBMondays: Get Your Basics Here

Not a big shocker, but we sold a lot of geeky, funky, cool-kid bottles during the first two ITBMondays. Last week was especially theme-y, with many different Ganevat whites crossing the counter, along with a handful of Montbourgeau bottles and some flor-y Clos Cibonne rose. But your selections don’t have to be all about hard-core geekery. We had Jeff Porter pop in for some back-to-basic bottles he needed for his wine studies. By loose design, our selection covers much of the syllabi (yes, that’s a word) of various certification courses (especially the WSET, at which I have embarked on my never-ending Diploma study.) These basics may not improve up your crazy-shit-cred, but honestly, you’re a lot more likely to get an Argentine Malbec on that test than a bottle of 100% old vine Tibouren aged under florette!

ITBMonday #2: I'm Sensing A Theme....

This Monday, there seemed to be a definite theme:

ITBMondays

Restaurants get to have all the fun: Big bottle nights. No corkage nights. Industry nights. So we’re decided to take a page from the restaurant book and try something out at the shop: ITBMondays.

Until we decide otherwise, every Monday, if you're in the wine business, come by the store, give us your card and get any 3 bottles at a 25% MU from cost.

That's right... Any. Three. Bottles.* 

The catch? We're going to want to post especially cool selections to twitter and FB. We won’t judge your selections. But others might, so choose well and wisely! It's OK, we know you can make it... it's your "office day", right?

*Applies to in-store purchases only. You have to come to the store during opening hours (11AM - 8PM)
